Shelby say's "Woo!"

So at 4:07 this morning The Somero Family came rolling down the driveway.
So thankful they made it here safe! and God watched over them.
Hoping to have an amazing 2 weeks with Shelby, I know it will be great!
and this Thanksgiving will be epic sauce :D

This little light of mine...

...I'm gonna let it shine!

I've been having a hard time showing Jesus's light to other's. I've heard that sometimes Christians find it hard to do because they will be made fun of. Well, I never really thought someone would be so rude as to make a comment like "that"...turns out it's not like that at all. 

Today I tried giving somewhat of my perspective on something, in a Christian-like manner, and they asked if I was trying to preach to them O_o I got upset you could say.... [but now my point]

I love giving people advice and sharing the Word of God to people, but sometimes I tell myself, "Maddie, your not good enough to be witnessing to these people, your as low as them. You don't know what your talking about and your just gonna screw up." But, actually I figured out that the devil was actually putting these thoughts in my head and it's not good, I'm learning to stop listening to him.

Sometimes I need to remind myself of the skit that my cabin group put on, on skit night at Camp Winamac in August. the moral was "You don't have to be an expert to help someone in need", and that's so true! I'm not an expert, but that doesn't mean I can't show, whatever light I have (even the smallest amount), to others.

So just remember, as I am to, that if you ever have the opportunity to tell someone about Jesus, do it!

To save a soul or brighten one, it doesn't matter. What you do with your life today and how you represent your King is what's important.

Montana

So there is this crazy girl whom I'd like to call my friend.
Her name is Montana.
the end... oh yeah, she's awesome.

Falling...

It seems like all these people of the world are falling.
Yes, Falling... into something that what they think it is and it's really not.
let me explain, life is so full of so many activity's and thoughts, things to do and places to go that sometimes we feel used and we stop feeling loved. Like we are doing all these things for people, our parents, grandparents, children, boss and sometimes even our "friends" but are never feeling love in return. Believe me, we all reach a stage like this at least once in our life.
Well, that's when we sometimes fall. into something called love.
Sometimes we reach for love is the lowest places that it's not fair to ourselves, and it's certainly not fair to God. You see, you are a beautiful creature that God shaped and molded to be the person who you are today. A beautiful, beautiful design.

Psalm 139:14~
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; 
   your works are wonderful, 
   I know that full well.

So if we know this, why would we fall in love in such ways that we destroy our bodies/mind and heart? The one's that God has given us.

Now maybe your trying to figure out what kind of "love" I'm talking about. Well "love" can be many a number of things.

1. love for food

2. love of money

3. love of relationships

4. love of being busy

5. love of tv

6. love of electronics

ect... Love is anything that we worship, not in a way that we pray and sing to it, but anything that takes over time with God.

Now let me get one thing straight, I struggle with this too. I am defiantly not perfect, many things separate my time with God and I am trying to deal with such Idols. 

the 1st Commandment: Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.

Gods and Idols and anything we literally serve to, spend a lot of time with or takes up too much of our time. 

"In everything there is moderation."

So when we are not feeling love from others, we usually look to physical  objects (or other people) for "love." 

Well, God want's you to know that He is all the love you need! He provides for you, He cares for you and He Made You!

So let's stop falling in love with all the wrong things because God is love and that's why he sent his Son Jesus to die for us,because He love's me. He loves you. and it doesn't matter what you've done either, all your sins are forgiven.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,

it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

always perseveres.

love never fails.

The Circle of Awesomeness

So today was totally epic for 12 reasons.
1. I got to see the awesomest person in the world, Tonya Wheeler (chuckles the cool one) herself.
2. I got to mop and vaccum the whole downstairs of Tonya's house with her -__-
3. Tonya and I did a (not so epic) photo shoot in the woods *facial expressions FTW*
4. I sung a lot.
5. I laughed a lot.
6. Derek, being the awesome person he is, brought us some Chick-fil-a because he is just so cool like.
7. I got to see theadamgaskins.
8. I joined the Circle of Awesomeness.
9. I can hula-hoop better than Tonya.
10. I ate a cherry *Popsicle* ;)
11. My awesome mother drove me home.
12. My brother game me a hug and told me he missed me.


So today was totally not epic for 1 reason.
1. I saw Tonya for the last time and won't see her again for another like 2 weeks :,(
(I will miss you most horribly!)

Gummm

This gum is old... I think I'll drink tea now. Sew a pillow? maybe tomorrow. This crazy life is kinda, eh, flying by but that's okay cause God is there to stop the clocks and let me "unwind" for a little while. yeah, thanks for that. Crying never stopped anything...never helped either.
I am blessed. Yes, your wanting something crazily awesome, so you shall get it! dog....HEY!

yo....A.J.

This is A.J. <aka> Austin James. My brother whom is so much part of my life I don't know what I'd really do with out him. Since we were kids we've never gotten along! Check out some of our old tape videos, no happy ones xP and still today we have disagreements but (thanks to God and a lot of prayer) it is not near as bad. My brother at times will drive me crazy with his headstrong ideas and crazy stories and habits, but my brother is one that you wont get. If he want's something, he won't stop driving til he gets it. He's great at sports and even though it seems like he brags about it a lot, whatever he says is true =D 

Austin is one of those people that you can't stand to be around yet hate it if he's away! He's such a helper and  and so encouraging that it makes me want to smile all the time. 

Of course he has the beautifulest blue eyes, cool hair, epic hat beast at sports and major sharp reflexes in which I'm no comparison. Which is why a cool brother like this is just, well, appreciated. 

I guess I'm just trying to say, I'm thankful for my brother Austin! 

First time for everything.

Hello welcome to my Blog!
I am not a nerd so I'm not sure how to do it all the right way, but I sure am trying.
Last night was totally epic, Went to the MacDonalds concert (great singers have you know) and got to see Tonya and the Matsons and of course the MacDonalds xP Soo, great night :D
Today has been, ummm... rain, rain, rain, so not all that. but Praise God for weather changes. We need those every now and then.
